BLAZING PADDLES - February 2010

BLAZING PADDLES - February 2010

Three cheers for our  2010 Team Canada athletes on our best Olympic showing ever.  We have all been inspired by the performances of our fellow Canadians and the downtown core of Vancouver was truely like 'Expo on steroids'.  Whistler was provided the opportunity to showcase itself to world and we shy Canadians have now realized that yelling/cheering makes you feel good!

Sport Matters commissioned an Angus Reed poll and the results for sport are encouraging.  Take a few minutes to check it out at:  http://canoekayakbc.posterous.com/public-opinion-research

Visit our home page to read additional comments about the event and to see the outcome reflected in both the recently unveiled provincial and federal budgets.

Congratulations Tim Milne
